The Avengers are back!

Is there anyone, watching television over the last ten years, who has not tuned in and listened to that familiar theme music without a thrill of anticipation? For John Steed is the modern Robin Hood, and we know in advance that he will not come to harm, even though he never made Marion.

Every week we have switched on to Steed and his faithful girl-friends Cathy Gale, Emma Peel, Tara King the cynical, leather-clad female who could kiss or chop you according to her moods.

Now Steed and his latest Avenger girl Hannah Wild are presented on the stage in a fast-moving, outrageous comedy, with all the panache and gloss of the imperturbable Avengers, but with the sinister and exotic Madame Gerda, leader of the Forces of Evil, and her incredibly wicked gang of beautiful girls.

With the Avengers anything can happen!
